I didn't know what to expect when I heard that JR was doing a country album. But in the end it's just another great JR album.

This may be JR's best sounding cd along with I'm So Confused. Both are very well produced.

Those Nashville musicians are top notch.This is the one album where I actually think that the re-makes of his songs don't spoil the album. The version of "I Must Be King" here sounds more fresh than the "Jonathan Sings's" version

i always wanted to hear the full version of CornerStore from the film Kingpin, but i never found it..

A flaw with the recording on this one. The sound's pretty clear but for the first third of the show until part way through 'Action Packed' it's only recorded onto the right channel; from there on though it's okay and the rest of the show sounds fine.

A strange JR song. Dark and almost evil sounding at times. Unless I'm missing the point of the song entirely. It wouldn't be the first time!

Yeah, this one and The Neighbors are both dark. Still not completely sure if I really get them...and I've heard them both countless times!

This song was written in the studio during the recording of "Modern Lover's 88"

A great show and a pretty lively audience too; just Jonathan with support from a drummer, Joseph Marc (?). Highlight of the night is a great sounding 'Monologue on Bermuda'.

Doesn't seem to get played much anymore, but I love this song
